Student Mentorship Program

“If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.” John Quincy Adams

We are pleased to announce the start of the PIPLA Student Mentorship Program!

The Program is designed to match a Mentee with a Mentor for professional development as outlined in the attached Guidelines.

We are soliciting current active member volunteers to be Mentors for the Program.  If you are interested in being a Mentor, please email with your interest, primary practice area(s) (patent or trademark litigation, patent or trademark prosecution, copyright litigation, contracting, etc.), and your company type (e.g., corporation, law firm, large/small, etc.).

Additionally, please refer interested students to email with their contact information, primary area(s) of interest (patent prosecution, etc.), and desired company type (e.g., corporation, law firm, large/small, etc.).

Those students who apply to the Program should be registered members of PIPLA and follow the RSVP invitation deadlines including the pre-payment of meals via a mailed check to the address below or PayPal at  Students will be fully reimbursed for their meals by PIPLA upon attendance at the meetings.

Please note, students who wish to become PIPLA members, should submit a completed Membership Application (attached) and email to or mail to the address below.  (Student applications do not need to be endorsed and membership dues are waived.)
